LaMorris and Megan's story began at Olivet Nazarene University in 2004. LaMorris grew up in a challenging environment marked by poverty and gang influence. At 19 years old, he surrendered his life to Jesus and experienced life-changing transformation. Megan was raised in a Christian home and met the Lord at a young age. Married for over 17 years and raising four children, the Crawfords are the founders of Covenant Culture Ministries, a ministry committed to producing marriages that have never been seen before, through covenant and Christ-centered discipleship. They have served in local church ministry as Marriage and Family pastors and on staff as men's, women's, and Children's ministry directors throughout their lives. Most recently, their family of six transitioned from local ministry to focus on serving the global church through itinerate ministry to men, women, couples, and families alike. LaMorris and Megan's passion is to see realtionships flourish and families strenghtened through the power of the Gospel.

Together, this couple serves as full time Team Chaplains for the NFL's Carolina Panthers. This role is not new to their family, as they previously served as NFL Chaplains to the Cincinnati Bengals for over 8 years. Professional sports' ministry continues to be a forerunner in their lives. Through this calling, the Crawford's ministry influence reaches across the National Football League and into other profesional sports spaces, which includes multiple players and couples within the NBA and Olympic athletics, serving players, coaches, and couples. Based on a word from the Lord, their heart is to watch relationships flourish, and to witness the fruit of marriages that have never been seen before, no matter the platform or setting!

We’d love to get to know your story one day; until then… here’s a little bit of ours. From the projects and from the corn fields, you could say we grew up a little differently! You may already know, but we will leave it to you to figure out which one of us looks better in a cowgirl hat! We like to say that LaMorris is the truth in our marriage and that Megan is the grace! One of us visits fun country frequently, while the other would rather stay at home, but is highly skilled at rapping Dr. Seuss to our children! We both are truly passionate for the things of Jesus, starting with our personal relationships with the Lord. Based on a Word we received from God in 2010, we have chosen to lean into what He so graciously spoke: to have a marriage that has never been seen before! At first we held this very closely and kept it private, but then we realized that God didn’t give us this Word to keep to ourselves, but as a mantle to carry. He is big enough, good enough, faithful enough and loving enough to share this with every couple that He designed for covenant marriage. This was God’s idea, and this is where Covenant Culture began.
